I propose to abandon the suffix and the gxx tree: 1. there is no other instance of Qt 2. our main-line compiler is gcc, thus gxx for C++ What do you think? |

at first: yes unless we try to build QT with SOS sometime. but the problem I have is a build cycle takes much time and rebuild failed recently (because some updates on the buildfarm?). |

IMHO if building with GCC is easier we don't need to bother with SOS. If you don't have the time to explore the causes for the recent build failure I can give it a try next week. Just let me know. |
