Does this matter? I mean, if it's the same version in both places it shouldn't matter where to get it? Or is it a speed issue, the temp mirror being a local one? |

I'm looking at this again. :-) The temp mirror was never meant to be "primary", it was just to add to the mirrors you already have, usually current/unstable. More than one mirror is allowed in pkgutil.conf, also more than one -t option can be specified on the command line. They don't really have any priority over each other, what decide what's selected is the version compare only. In your case you had the exact same package in both repos so it probably fetched the first match.
I haven't looked at the code but I don't think pkgutil is aware of which repo is which, they are all combined into one. |
