0004001: temp site is not really used as a primary site

If the same package (with the same version) is present in the temp site and in the default mirror, it's the package from the default mirror which is downloaded and not the one from the temp site as we could expect.

Not a very important bug as the case should not happen very often.

Does this matter? I mean, if it's the same version in both places it shouldn't matter where to get it? Or is it a speed issue, the temp mirror being a local one?

I'm looking at this again. :-) The temp mirror was never meant to be "primary", it was just to add to the mirrors you already have, usually current/unstable. More than one mirror is allowed in pkgutil.conf, also more than one -t option can be specified on the command line. They don't really have any priority over each other, what decide what's selected is the version compare only. In your case you had the exact same package in both repos so it probably fetched the first match.

I haven't looked at the code but I don't think pkgutil is aware of which repo is which, they are all combined into one.
