Hi,

Looking at the revision stamp, it seems to me that the packages you were installing are blastwave packages, not opencsw.

If you would like to test OpenCSW mysql-5.1 packages, please visit this page:
http://buildfarm.opencsw.org/experimental.html#mysql-5.1 [^]

Looking at the file list, it does have the file you mentioned.

You are right, maciej. Thank you.

I posted the following to blastwave.org: https://www.blastwave.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=848 [^]

lsiden, getting support from Blastwave may be very hard. I would recommend migrating your packages to OpenCSW instead. Here's some info on how to do it:

Maciej, I tried looking for a mysql-5.1 package in http://www.opencsw.org/get-it/packages/ [^] and on one of the mirrors (both stable/ and unstable/ dirs), e.g. http://mirrors.usc.edu/pub/csw/unstable/i386/5.10/, [^] but could not find it. Looks like opencsw.org does not even provide this package. Is there somewhere else I have to look?

mysql-5.1 hasn't been released by opencsw yet. I've done some work towards the release, but it probably needs some more ironing. It's available from the experimental area:

http://buildfarm.opencsw.org/experimental.html#mysql-5.1 [^]

I'm working on a new update, but I also need to update mysql-5.0 to allow the two to coexist.

So I was apparently wandering "where no man had gone before"!

I'm new to managing a Solaris server and am just learning where to find packages.

Thank you for your good work! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

There's a bug filed about the upgrade to 5.1:

https://www.opencsw.org/mantis/view.php?id=3722 [^]

You can monitor it for updates. I'll announce new testing packages when they're done.
