Summary 0004684: build_sun_catalog.py not included in pkgutilplus package - symlink broken
Description I'm trying to get access to the build_sun_catalog.py file, but it seems to be left out of the package.

A symlink is included:
build_sun_catalog -> ../libexec/pkgutil/build_sun_catalog.py

but the target file doesn't exist.

You're absolutely right, sorry about that. I have rebuilt new packages at:

Thanks Peter, love your work.

If only my other OpenCSW package bugs got fixed this quickly.

One thing that tripped me up was that build_sun_catalog requires absolute path names, or it barfs. Not sure if that is documented anywhere - but the script should either return a syntax error, or replace the relative path with an absolute one for pkgtrans to work.

cheers

Thank you! :-)

That script was contributed by Maciej Blizinski, you should contact him, he's very helpful so he may sort that out for you and then I can include an updated copy in pkgutilplus. His mail address is in the script or you can connect to #opencsw@freenode, Maciej hangs there all the time just like me.

Regarding other bugs, maybe the maintainers of those packages are not very active, perhaps you could give me the bug numbers and I can check it out. We may assign new maintainers to speed things up if possible.
