Summary 0004414: When configuring postfix to relay with gmail there is a problem with sasl
Description warning: unsupported SASL client implementation: cyrus
fatal: SASL library initialization
process /opt/csw/libexec/postfix/smtp pid 3169 exit status 1
/opt/csw/libexec/postfix/smtp: bad command startup -- throttling

it seems that it have to be compiled with CYRUS_SASL flag enabled

Thanks for reporting. Updated packages with Postfix 2.7.1 are now available from experimental/:

These should fix your issue.

Could you please verify whether they work for you. Postfix was updated from 2.4.6 to 2.7.1, with a substantial list of enhancements. If there are any problems with the package, please let me know.

Fixed with 2.7.1,REV=2010.09.01 which is now available from current/.
