The latest version is 2.23-05, updated April 2011. The version in the OpenCSW repository is from 2004.

Hi James,

I made some quick update packages of the latest version which should appear soon at
http://buildfarm.opencsw.org/experimental.html#webalizer [^]
It does not have BDB support yet. It would be nice if you could give it a go and maybe you are willing to provide sample config files for Apache or another webserver from OpenCSW?

Works great! I'm not sure what use BDB support or an Apache config would be. I run it from the command line like:

/bin/cat $LOGFILE | /opt/csw/bin/webalizer -Q -o /opt/csw/apache2/share/htdocs/stats

where LOGFILE is an Apache log and it outputs plain old HTML and PNGs.

I made a new set of packages, now with GeoIP, bzip2 and BDB support:

Would you mind giving it a try? If it works for you I would release them.

I can confirm the package still works and the GeoIP and bzip2 support work. Don't know about BDB.

Good to hear that. The BDB support is for caching DNS lookups when the log only contains IP adresses. I have checked thaat myself and it looks pretty good. Additionally, I asked the maintainer Jake Goerzen to have a review of the updated package for release.
