Hi R2naturual,

Sorry for the long wait, I hadn\'t noticed your bug report here.
On an x86 box, here is what I\'m seeing:

[griffous@angelous:~]ldd /opt/csw/bin/mplayer | grep ldap
             libldap-2.3.so.0 => /opt/csw/lib/pentium/libldap-2.3.so.0

Can you run the same command on your machine, it sounds like you\'re missing the ldap libraries, which is strange.....
CSWoldaprt provides the ldap library in question. Checking my depend list again, I see that package isn\'t mentioned, which I expect will be your issue.

Can you try running pkg-get -i oldaprt, and then try again.
I\'ll get to work on ammending the dependancies for the package.

Ok - tried that oldaprt not found by pkg-get can\'t install.

Ok - installed openldap_rt

Now getting a runtime error - don\'t have time to look at in depth - have to go to work but I\'ll get back to you on it.

- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn\'t happen.
  It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
  gcc version. If you think it\'s MPlayer\'s fault, please read
  DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can\'t and
  won\'t help unless you provide this information when reporting a possible bug.

Archaic context; there is a new packaging.
