technically, this is really a bug in the libtool package. it should depend on CSWlibltdl3 as well as CSWlibltdl7.

Odd thing is, I thought a fixed package was already submitted for this some months ago. but I dont see it :(

Correct. I realise now there are several of these and a libtool fix is going to be needed anyway to support the unmaintained packages. You might get a "use the lib not main package" or "updated to .7" report here too so it's not much different as fix might as well use .7.

it uses libtool in its build process but doesn not depend on it since November 27 2013.
