You also need poppler 0.5.3, always at the same url.

Short test and it works from commandline and when i double-click a PDF file in e.g. nautilus. But when i try to use it as a helper application in Firefox (changing from acroread) it doesn\'t start.

was this feature working with the previous version of evince?

ps: i think i heard about this issue before, maybe on the csw users mailing list, but it was not related to evince itself...

Version 5.5 is working correct. For some reason my LD_LIBRARY_PATH screwed things up.
