| Summary | 0004505: init script fails to remove lock | ||||||
| Description |
The /etc/opt/csw/init.d fails to remove the lock file when it exits. If therefore your orca runs out of memory or crashes for any other reason the service cannot restart. The fix is very simple. See "additional information" for the one line addition. |

The /etc/opt/csw/init.d/csworca file is completely missing when I install orca on Solaris 9 from the experimental version. Package has the right date. I'm not even sure anymore if it got delivered in Solaris 10 since it was in my system in the first place. |

CSWorca version snapshot_r535,REV=2010.08.04 has been released to unstable a long time ago and the issue is fixed. |
