Summary |
0001002: ntop does not stop on removal |
|
Description |
ntop needs a preremove script to stop ntop.
Not only does ntop not stop should anyone choose to remove but on pkg-get upgrade the old ntop continues to run.
A small tweak in the next postinstall might be needed to stop the running ntop and ensure the new is started. I\'ve only removed and installed the same version but the same PID belongs to ntop through remove and install.
Please note the current version is 3.1
