Summary | 0005213: mercurial package should depend on python-2.7 interpreter
Description | The other day I put opencsw onto an old, but basically unused Solaris 10 sparc box. I then used pkgutil to install mercurial, but it did not work because the python interpreter was not installed. So I used pkgutil to install the python package, which STILL didn't work because it installed python-2.6. I had to explicitly install python-2.7 in order to get mercurial working.
Additional Information |
I am using pkgutil 2.6.6. This is the mercurial package I installed: PKGINST: CSWmercurial NAME: mercurial - Mercurial CATEGORY: application ARCH: sparc VERSION: 3.1.1,REV=2014.09.07 BASEDIR: / VENDOR: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/mercurial [^] packaged for CSW by THURNER rupert PSTAMP: rupert@unstable10s-20140907090419 INSTDATE: Oct 16 2014 13:26 HOTLINE: http://www.opencsw.org/bugtrack/ [^] EMAIL: rupert@opencsw.org STATUS: completely installed FILES: 829 installed pathnames 4 shared pathnames 93 directories 13 executables 32342 blocks used (approx) |
