Note that Cfengine 3.x is a completely different application than Cfengine 2.x. It uses an entirely incompatible syntax for it's configuration, and upgrading from one to the other is a non-trivial task. I would recommend packaging Cfengine 2 and Cfengine 3 separately. |

I agree that this is not a normal upgrade. Users are pretty even divided between version 2 and 3 so if make a package for version 3 it should not replace version 2. I'm closing this bug and we'll see if we get a request for version 3, if we do we can handle the coexistance then. |
