0003438: checkpkg: Add flag to allow user selection of temporary directory |

Description |
In the current version of checkpkg /tmp is always used as the temp space. Please add a flag to allow users to select which directory they would like to use as temp space. A proposed solution is in the attached patch. |

Additional Information |
This would allow multiple users to work on the same package concurrently.
Once this is complete gar should be updated to use the proposed GARTMP variable with checkpkg. |
