Version 1.2.2 is not building for me on S8 -- it seems that memcached has become even more difficult to compile under Solaris < 10 than it was before? |

For what it\'s worth, I believe I found instructions on how to properly compile memcached 1.2.2 for Solaris. This might help Blastwave http://blog.ajohnstone.com/archives/installing-memcached/ [^] |

I\'m not sure whether you intended to paste that particular URL. If compiling were as easy as \"./configure;make;make install\" as the article says, it would be released by now... |

Fixed in 1.4.3,REV=2009.11.24 and released to current |
