Summary |
0002158: Pine should look for its system-wide configuration file in /opt/csw/etc/ rather than in /usr/local/lib |
Description |
Pine uses two system-wide configuration files, pine.conf and pine.conf.fixed.
By default, pine search theses 2 files in /usr/local/lib.
It would make more sense to have these files under /opt/csw and better under /opt/csw/etc |
Additional Information |
You can modify the path of these file by setting SYSTEM_PINERC and SYSTEM_PINERC_FIXED before building pine.
I suppose it would also be necessary to detect and move the previous file in /usr/local/lib (if they exist) in the new location in the postinstall script of the package. |
