Setting up OpenCSW catalog mirror

If I have a set of hosts behind a slow internet connection, or a with no Internet access, it would make sense to have a local copy of the whole OpenCSW catalog.

Is it possible to create a mirror of the OpenCSW package catalog? How to do that?
