To start with, you can find the old package here so you get functionality back: http://csw.informatik.uni-erlangen.de/oldpkgs/ [^] |

I'm looking into the problem, I have an older qpopper installation to compare with that works. Can you post a manual session please to see how it responds? |

Oh, you have already reverted. I will try it myself then and see if I can reproduce the problem. |

When I've tryed a manual session it responds this: -ERR [AUTH] Password supplied for "<USER>" is incorrect. |

I have confirmed the bug. I have put new packages here: http://mirror.opencsw.org/experimental.html#bonivart [^] You can upgrade with: pkgutil -t http://mirror.opencsw.org/opencsw/experimental/bonivart [^] -u qpopper Please get back to me with how it goes. For me it worked with the new packages (on Solaris 10 i386). |

Now it works, thank you very much. |

Glad to hear that! I had missed a configure option for shadow passwords which must have changed between 4.0.9 and 4.0.19. I will release this updated version today so no others get hit with this. |
