0001905: star 1.5a75 unable to extract a tar file it created

Description

I really do not know how to lock this down to a simple test case. But it is absolutely reproducible.

I have a large tar file created with star and extraction fails.

Regardless if I use my own build of star or a binary from CSW I get the exact same error.

Here is the problem :

An older rev of star seems to work fine

star: star 1.5a57 (sparc-sun-solaris2.8)

I will try to lock this down to some small test case input data.
