Summary | 0001041: No 64-bit support for x64 platform | ||||||
Description |
Whenever I try to compile with -m64 on AMD Turion 64 I get following; bash-3.00$ gcc -mtune=opteron -m64 -o test1 test1.c test1.c:1: sorry, unimplemented: 64-bit mode not compiled in It works when not specifying -m64 of course. Seems to me that something might be missing in the build, or? |

If you wish to obtain 64bit code on x86, use gcc4 |
